JAKARTA - Denmark coach Brian Riemer insists his team will be more enthusiastic than Scotland in the final match of Group C of the 2026 World Cup Qualification which will determine on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, early morning WIB, at Hampden Park.
Denmark's 2-2 draw against Belarus came as a surprise because it gave Scotland the chance to qualify for the 2026 World Cup after they won 3-2 over Greece on November 15, 2025.
Steve Clarke's side are only one point clear of Denmark at the top of Group C. This means that the Scottish vs Denmark duel will determine who will qualify automatically for the United States, Canada, and Mexico next year.
Scotland will be fully supported by supporters, who reportedly sold out tickets. The hosts have hoped for the World Cup finals for the first time since 1998.

However, Brian Riemer was not afraid to play at the opponent's headquarters in this very important party. In fact, he considered his team to be much more enthusiastic than Scotland.
"(Scotland) is not as enthusiastic as we are, so that's my first answer," said the 47-year-old coach.
Furthermore, Riemer confirmed that Anders Dryer was absent due to illness. Meanwhile, his attacker, Rasmus Hojlund, who was absent against Belarus due to illness, is in doubt of joining the core team.
However, Riemer didn't bother. He believes the existing squad will be able to secure tickets to the 2026 World Cup.
"Bohong kalau saya bilang saya menikmati sedikit kesulitan yang kami mengalami terkait sakit. Tentu saja setiap pelatih akan selalu memilih untuk datang ke camp pelatihan ketika tidak ada cedera, penyakit, masalah, atau seksing."
"However, I have to admit, for a year I coach Denmark, every time we come for a game or training camp, something always happens, whether it's players looking for a club, players who are sick, injured, or suspended."
"It's part of the job as a manager. In the end, we had a really good squad. That's how I feel."
"We have great players who started the game, we have great players on the bench. It's the top group, they really support each other."
"So, for me, it's not a big deal, but of course, in the end, we'd rather not have a small problem like this," said the coach again.
Riemer believes his team has forgotten the bad results from Belarus as they try to secure their top position and place in the 2026 World Cup finals even though runners-up will get a playoff spot.
"I don't think anyone thought about it for a second. We played for tickets to the 2026 World Cup."
"What happened in the first, second, or fifth matches is completely irrelevant at this time," he said.
"In the dressing room after failing to secure a World Cup ticket because we were still drunk after the match against Belarus, I think it's impossible for top professional footballers."
"They know what it means. This is a big dream for the squad, this is a big target for the team. We have work to do," said Riemer.
