Ahead Of The Mentas World Cup U-17 2025, The Preparation For The Garuda Nusantara Squad Enters The Final Stage

The U-17 Indonesian national team underwent the last TC before leaving for Dubai for final preparations ahead of the 2025 U-17 World Cup (VOIUlfa Gusti).

JAKARTA - The U-17 Indonesian national team will survive in the prestigious 2025 U-17 World Cup in Qatar. Ahead of the agenda on 3-27 November 2025, the preparation for the Garuda Nusantara Squad is entering its final stage.

Under the tutelage of Nova Arianto, the U-17 Indonesian national team has undergone a training camp in Yogyakarta from September 29 to October 14, 2025. Later the squad will head to Dubai on October 17, 2025 for a series of international trial agendas before leaving for Qatar.

Regarding the development and preparation of his team ahead of competing in the 2025 U-17 World Cup, Nova Arianto admitted that he was grateful because all processes were carried out well and continued to show readiness.

"After this they will advance to class. I am grateful that they have made good preparations and we are very ready to go to the 2025 U-17 World Cup."

"Hopefully the players will have a stronger mentality to be able to perform optimally in the 2025 U-17 World Cup," said Nova Arianto before leading the training at the Madya Stadium, Senayan, on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.

After completing the training camp (TC) agenda in Yogyakarta, the U-17 Indonesian national team has an agenda for preparation for the 2025 U-17 World Cup for two days in Jakarta. In this period, the team will focus on fitness training before leaving for Dubai on Friday.

"In Dubai, we have three test matches there. October 25, 2025 against Paraguay, 27 October 2025 against South Africa, and 29 October 2025 closed with matches against Panama."

"Then, we shifted to Qatar on November 1, 2025 to undergo the last adaptation before Indonesia's first U-17 match on November 4, 2025 against Zambia," he said.

The total number of players currently being prepared is 27 people, consisting of 20 players who have joined the TC, three goalkeepers, and four abroad players who will soon follow, namely Mike Rajasa, Nicholas Indra Mjosund, Matthew Baker, and Lucas Lee.
