Parker Willing To Fight Ituma If Sukses Beat Wardley

JAKARTA Joseph Parker is willing to risk his mandatory fight against Oleksandr Usyk by challenging Moses Ituma if he successfully wins without injury against Fabio Wardley.

Parker and Wardley are scheduled to fight on October 25, 2025 at the O2 Arena, London, England. This mandatory fighter winner should face Oleksandr Usyk for the mandatory WBO match.

However, Parker instead opened up in the ring against Ituma in December 2025. This is a very short time lag for a modern heavyweight boxer.

"I don't want to be out of the ring for too long. Fighting once a year isn't enough. I want to fight as often as possible," Parker said.

Apart from the question of time, this duel will also be a big bet for Parker as it will jeopardize his position to get a chance to ride against Usyk's undisputed heavyweight world champion twice.

Ituma included a schedule for fighting in December 2025. However, the 20-year-old fighter is still looking for opponents.

"I'm ready to face any fight. I know Moses is a great talent. He can only fight against whoever is in front of him, and he always manages to deal with the situation every time," Parker said.

Ituma is a rising heavyweight star. He recently destroyed former heavyweight title challenger, Dillian Whyte, in August 2025.

Parker on the other hand, actually had to undergo a mandatory duel with Usyk after the Ukrainian fighter beat Daniel Dubois to an undisputed world heavyweight champion for the second time.

Usyk then submitted a request for an extension of the negotiations due to injury. Because of that, Parker decided to fight Wardley.
