JAKARTA Congo's heavyweight boxer, Martin Bakole, is willing to get into the ring against Anthony Joshua (AJ), who is being pushed to have a big game in Africa early next year.
Bakole, who is Joshua's former sparring partner, underwent his final match against Efe Ajagba in May 2025 which ended in a draw.
Three months before that, he first lost to TKO in a short match against Joseph Parker. So, now he is looking for a big game and is very willing to duel with AJ.
"I will immediately accept the fight with Anthony Joshua. We are both African fighters," Bakole said as quoted by Sky Sports.

Joshua has not fought again after losing against Daniel Dubois in September last year to the IBF heavyweight belt at Wembley Stadium, London, England.
The former world champion suffered an injury afterward and needed recovery, but is now ready to return. He was also offered a duel in Ghana and Nigeria, where his mother came from.
Bakole said that Anthony Joshua must be thinking about fighting him. He was confident that he could win if their fight could come true.
"I will even beat him in Nigeria, in front of his own audience. This is a battle that must be won. This is a Rumble in the Jungle II duel," he said.
Nigeria currently has the highest population across Africa, which is around 250 million. The country is the economic capital of all Africa.
Promotor Dr. Tak Adamu recently held a boxing event in Lagos in collaboration with Amir Khan. The fight was a success so that Joshua's match was confirmed to be much bigger.
