Yudha Febrian Exposed To Sexual Harassment Case, Barito Putera: Not Our Player Anymore

JAKARTA - Barito Putera insists that there is no working relationship with Yudha Febrian. The 19-year-old has been with the club since April 2021.

Yudha Febrian's name is back to being a lip. His actions outside the field again tarnished the good name of national football.

The player who had participated in the Garuda Select program in the UK was allegedly sexually harassed by a woman. The issue came to light after @senandikha11 Twitter account, uploading the story on her social media.

Previously at the end of 2020, Yudha was sanctioned by national team coach Shin Tae-yong. With Serdy Ephy Fano, he was dropped from the under-19 squad for returning home late to the hotel after spending time at the nightspot.

In response to the situation, Barito Putera then sent Yudha to an Islamic Boarding School to get mental coaching.

Now, CEO Barito Putera Hasnuryadi Sulaiman asserts, Yudha is no longer a player.

"Actually, Yudha is not our player anymore. He has been resigned since April 15," Hasnuryadi reported from Goal on Tuesday.

The owner of the full name Mochamad Yudha Febrian is actually an accomplished young player.

Joining the U-16 national team since 2017, Yudha helped his team become a champion at the 2017 Tien Phong Plastic U-16 Cup in Vietnam, the 2018 JENESYS Japan-ASEAN U-16 youth soccer tournament, and the 2018 AFF U-16 Cup, as well as being the best in Group G of the 2018 Asian U-16 Cup qualification.

The man from Bogor, West Java, also appeared at the 2018 AFC U-16 Asian Cup in Malaysia. His last achievement with the national team was to bring the U-19 national team to the best eleventh in Group K of the 2020 U-19 Asian Cup qualification in 2019.
