Through Collaboration, InJourney Realizes Mandalika As A Superior Tourism Destination For Sport Tourism

Through the implementation of various events ranging from national to international scale, Mandalika is expected to become a leading tourism destination for sports tourism.

Various sporting events have been held at the Mandalika Circuit, both nationally and internationally. This time, it was POCARI SWEAT Run Lombok 2025's turn to be completed at the Mandalika Circuit on September 13-14. A total of 9,000 runners crossed special routes around the circuit and also the villages around The Mandalika Area which are very beautiful and rich in culture.

Then Muhamad Iqbal, the Governor of NTB as the host welcomed all runners running at POCARI SWEAT Run Lombok 2025, We fully support this activity to be held in NTB and intense coordination with all ranks to make improvements for the convenience of runners whose 70% came from outside NTB. Activities that support Sport Tourism and revive local tourism like this are expected to encourage economic growth in the NTB region.

The series of POCARI SWEAT Run Lombok 2025 activities have started since 12 September with the take of a running competition package. Sunset Run with a route of 4.3 kilometers around the circuit before sunset is the opening event on September 13 and the highlight of the event includes Marathon (42,195 kilometers), Half Marathon (21,0975 kilometers), and 10 kilometers held today, September 14.

On the same day, as an effort to realize a form of sustainable environmental and tourism concern, InJourney conducts Mangrove conservation in Lot MG located in the easternmost area of The Mandalika, Central Lombok Regency, NTB. Lot MG is planned as Mandalika Mangrove Sanctuary with an area of 47.8 hectares which functions as a conservation center and ecotourism-based education. Through this program, InJourney through its subsidiary, ITDC not only develops sustainable tourism destinations and has a positive impact on the community but also ensures the sustainability of the ecosystem that supports its growth.
