Adrian Wibowo Can Strengthen The Indonesian National Team Against Lebanon

JAKARTA - Adrian Wibowo has been confirmed to be included in the Indonesian national team squad against Lebanon. The meeting was the second FIFA Matchday agenda in Surabaya, Monday, August 8 evening WIB.

Regarding Adrian Wibowo's status, this was conveyed by the Indonesian national team manager, Sumardji. The completion of the administrative process for players of Indonesian-United States descent made it certain to strengthen the Garuda Team.

"Adrian (Wibowo) can play later (against Lebanon). That (all administrative processes) are safe," said Sumardji in a written statement received Monday, August 8.

Initially, Adrian's name was not included in the list of player summons to the Indonesian national team for the international calendar for the September 2025 period. However, suddenly Patrick Kluiver called Adrian.

The news about Adrian's involvement in the Indonesian national team was actually shared by his club, Los Angeles FC. The player with the attacking position got a call to the Indonesian national team because he has Indonesian blood.

Because his father came from Surabaya, East Java, Adrian did not have to undergo the naturalization process. He only needs to complete the document again as an Indonesian citizen (WNI).

After not being able to play in the Indonesia vs Taiwan national team match, Adrian was finally able to appear against Lebanon. Adrian himself has been in training with the Indonesian national team for several days.
