No Gyokeres And Madueke In Arsenal's Pre-season Tour

JAKARTA - Arsenal have left for their pre-season tour of Asia without Viktor Gyokeres, as talks with Sporting CP continue about the striker's move.

The north London team headed for Singapore on Saturday, July 19, 2025, for their first stop on a two-week tour that will include friendly matches against AC Milan and Newcastle United before facing Tottenham Hotspur in Hong Kong.

In ESPN's report, Arsenal hopes that Gyokeres will be among the entourage because negotiations are entering an advanced stage.

Arsenal have agreed to pay an initial fee of around 63 million euros or equivalent to IDR 1.2 trillion for an additional 10 million euros (IDR 191 billion) even though the exact figure is not final. Specific provisions on how the addition is still under discussion.

Nearly all of Arsenal's other new players are included in the list of 30 players who left for Asia, including Kepa Arrizabalaga, Martin Zubimendi, and Christian Norgaard.

However, Noni Madueke, who moved from Chelsea last week for a transfer fee of up to 52 million pounds (Rp1.14 trillion), was not included.
