JAKARTA The talented young athlete from West Nusa Tenggara, Yad Hapizudin, managed to make Indonesia proud at the Singapore Open Track and Field Championships 2025.
He succeeded in becoming the best and bringing home the gold medal in the men's 1,500 meters at the National Stadium, Singapore Sports Hub, on Thursday, April 24, 2025.
This achievement is an important record in the athlete's career because it is his debut in the international senior athletic championship.
Yad was previously known as the 2022 SAC Indonesia Energen Champion champion, as well as gold winner in the same number at the 2023 SEA Youth Athletics Championships and 13th ASEAN School Games 2024.
