Persita Tangerang Dramatic Win Over Arema FC With A Score Of 3-2

JAKARTA - Persita Tangerang's metal mentality was displayed against Arema FC in the 29th week of Liga 1 Indonesia at the Indomilk Arena Stadium, Tangerang, Sunday. The match ended with a score of 3-2 for the host.

Quoting ANTARA, Persita Tangerang had a quick lead through Yardan Yafi, but Arema FC was able to take the lead through Dedik Setiawan and Dalberto Luan Belo so that the first half ended for the visitors' advantage, according to the Indonesian League records.

Even though they are left behind, Persita Tangerang can rise and turn things around in the second half thanks to goals from Javlon Guseynov and Marios Ogkmpoe.

Thanks to this victory, Persita Tangerang rose to ninth in the Indonesian League 1 standings with 42 points from 29 matches, having the same points as Arema FC in eighth position who has only played 28 times.

Statistically, Persita Tangerang often creates opportunities through 11 kicks, seven of which are right on target, while Arema FC is 51 percent superior to possession.

Persita took the initiative to attack when the match started and could take a quick lead in the 8th minute after Eber Bessa's through ball was converted into a goal through Yardan Yafi's kick so the score changed to 1-0.

Arema managed to respond well after Charles Lokolingoy's pass failed to be perfectly anticipated by Persita goalkeeper Igor Rodrigues so that the ball fell to the feet of Dedik Setiawan who managed to score and made the score change to 1-1 in the 26th minute.
