All England 2025: 10 Indonesian Representatives Qualify For Round Of 16

JAKARTA Indonesia has 10 representatives who managed to secure tickets for the second round of the All England 2025 which will take place on Thursday, March 13, 2025.

The follow-up match of the first round of the world's oldest tournament was completed on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, WIB night. Indonesia also got an additional five tickets for the second half.

The first ticket on the second day, Wednesday, March 12, 2025, was secured by the women's singles badminton player Gregoria Mariska Tunjung. The 2017 junior world champion qualified after beating Canadian singles, Michelle Li.

Mixed doubles Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja then followed suit. The pair stopped the second seeding move from Malaysia, Chen Tang Jie/Toh Ee Wei.

The two of them were then followed by the defending champion pair Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto. The fourth seed repatriated Chinese representatives, Chen Bo Yang/Liu Yi.

Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti then followed them. The pair who owned the 2021 SEA Games gold medal beat the Chinese women's doubles Taipei, Hsu Yin-Hui/Lin Jhih Yun.

The convincing victory was also secured by Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Mohammad Reza Pahlevi Isfahani. This pair stopped the third seed Liang Wei Lihat/Wang Chang (China).

Earlier on the first day, Tuesday, March 11, 2025, Indonesia received five tickets through Putri Kusuma Wardani, Febriana Dwi Puji Kusuma/Amallia Cahaya Pratiwi, Jonatan Christie, Muhammad Shohibul Fikri/Daniel Marthin, and Leo Rolly Carnando/Bagas Maulana.

The only representative who has returned is Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo. The badminton player from Papua lost against China's first seed, Shi Yuqi.
