Talking About Kans Jairo Riedewald To The Indonesian National Team, Denny Landzaat: He Will Be Welcomed

JAKARTA - Assistant coach of the Indonesian national team, Denny Landzaat, also commented on Jairo Riedewald's opportunity to defend the Garuda Squad. Landzaat said that Jairo's presence would be welcomed.

Previously, Jairo Riedewald was indeed linked to being a naturalized player for the Indonesian national team. Moreover, the 28-year-old midfielder does have Indonesian blood from his mother.

Regarding the development of Jairo's naturalization, currently the process is still being pursued. The supporting documents of the player are known to be complete.

Knowing that the process continues, Landzaat welcomes Jairo for actually coming to the Indonesian national team.

"If it depends on us, he (Jairo Riedewald) will join. He will be welcomed," said Denny Landzaat, reported by Voetbal Primeur on Wednesday, February 19, 2025.

"The selection is going well, players have done well so far. However, additions are still needed."

"Players who are abroad will be a good addition for the team," said Landzaat again.

Before recruiting Jairo, the Indonesian national team had already secured Ole Romeny. The Dutch-born striker has undergone the oath of Indonesian citizens (Indonesian citizens) and is ready to defend the Garuda Squad.
