Liverpool Vs Tottenham: The Reds Confirmed Without Trent Alexander-Arnold

Trent Alexander-Arnold is confirmed to be absent when Liverpool host Tottenham in the second leg of the Carabao Cup (Instagram/@liverpoolfc).

JAKARTA - Liverpool manager Arne Slot has confirmed that Trent Alexander-Arnold will miss the Carabao Cup semi-final second leg against Tottenham on Friday, February 7, 2025.

Alexander-Arnold left the field in the 70th minute of the Premier League match against Bournemouth on Saturday, February 1, 2025, due to a thigh injury.

"He will be out tomorrow and we have to see if he can play on Sunday, February 9, 2025, but he is not available tomorrow," Slot said on Wednesday, February 5, 2025.

"I think you saw him leave the pitch with a little pain in his leg. So, that's why he's out tomorrow."

"He's already on the pitch with the rehabilitation coach, let's see how long it takes," said Arne Slot again.

The England international injury will see Conor Bradley replace him in the starting XI. The 21-year-old also recently replaced the vice-captain against PSV in the Champions League.

"He (Bradley) also played against Spurs (in the first leg of the Carabao Cup) at the time. Every game and session is something that can be learned."

"Otherwise, it wasn't a good session for me. I think we played well against PSV with a team that rarely played."
