The Reason Tottenham Sacked Jose Mourinho: Tend To Criticizes Players And Boring Training Sessions

JAKARTA - Jose Mourinho was fired from his position as manager of Tottenham Hotspur, Monday, April 19 yesterday. So far, the Spurs did not reveal in detail the reasons for the dismissal.

However, Athletic released a report covering several reasons for Mourinho's dismissal. And one of the reasons is very interesting.

It is believed Mourinho was asked by the club to stop criticizing his players, a habit the former Manchester United manager has clearly been unable to break amid a string of poor performances.

His demeanor combined with poor results clearly contributed to his downfall, as was - according to reports - his tedious training sessions and hesitation to focus on attacking football.

Mourinho's assistant, Joao Sacramento, was also said to be unpopular with the players.

With all that said, it makes sense for Spurs to hire a more positive and progressive manager to replace Mourinho.

The Portuguese man was released when the Spurs confirmed their participation in the European Super League.

Currently, Tottenham is in seventh place in the Premier League standings and is in danger of qualifying for the Champions League. They collect 50 points, one point, and one strip ahead of Everton, who have a game in hand.
