JAKARTA The Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) has confirmed that it will prepare a special tribute to mark the separation with Hendra Setiawan/Mohammad Ahsan.
The couple nicknamed The Daddies announced in the middle of last month that they would retire. The Indonesia Masters 2025 this week will be the last tournament of their careers.
Chairman of the Indonesian Masters 2025 Implementation Committee, Armand Darmadji, said that they would prepare a special farewell event to honor the legendary couple.
"Of course we want to give our best because they always give their best for Indonesia," said Armand in a press statement at Istora Senayan, Jakarta.
The plan is for the farewell event to be held in the title A Tribute to the Daddies. This activity will take place before the final match of the Indonesia Masters 2025 on Sunday, January 26, 2025.

"We invite all (badminton lovers) to be able to attend the exhibition match."
"Hopefully the event will run smoothly and badminton lovers can attend to Istora," he said.
