BKPRMI Pemuda Indonesia Reciting The Quran Activities Appreciated BY Minister of Youth and Sports

JAKARTA - Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Zainudin Amali represented by Deputy for Youth Development Kemenpora, Asrorun Niam handed over the assistance of 2,500 Al-Quran and prayer mats, to the youth of mosques in DKI Jakarta.

This assistance was given when the Central Leadership Council (DPP) of the Indonesian Mosque Youth Communication Agency (BKPRMI) held a Mengaji Indonesian Youth activity launched at the Muwahiddin Mosque of the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora) RI, Tuesday, April 13.

Asrorun Niam conveyed the message of The Minister of Amali that the Ministry of Finance appreciates BKPRMI which has initiated the Indonesian Mengaji Youth Program. This activity is considered very meaningful because it encourages Indonesian youth to recite throughout Indonesia.

"This should be appreciated because this movement has begun to be rare in this country, and we told BKPRMI to make this momentum as a solution to eradicate illiteracy in Indonesia for teenagers, youth, elderly people who are the result of research almost 60 percent of Muslims can not read Al-Quran well", said Asrorun Niam.

Previously, when receiving BKPRMI, the Minister of Religious Affairs Amali said he was concerned because 60 percent of Indonesian Muslim youth could not recite.

"We are all concerned that our youth can not recite, but I see the function of BKPRMI, where there is a mosque where BKPRMI can walk", said The Minister of Amali.

Minister Amali also appreciated the efforts of BKPRMI in fighting for and facilitating the communication of Al-Quran teachers with local governments in increasing their incentives.

"I am very supportive of BKPRMI, this is his real work. We appreciate and thank the role of BKPRMI in the community", he said.

Ketum DPP BKPRMI, Said Aldi Al Idrus expressed his gratitude to the Minister of Amali who has been pleased to launch the Indonesian Youth recitation starting from April 13 to October 28, 2021, and will create 1 million Tahfizh Quran Indonesian youth and move 10000 houses Tahfizh BKPRMI throughout Indonesia.

Said Aldi Al Idrus said after the launch, this Mengaji Youth activity is planned to continue throughout Indonesia. "At the beginning of Ramadan after Asr, the youth recitation began in this Menpora mosque. It starts from the Kemenpora mosque and continues until 29 Ramadan throughout the province", he explained.

Aldi Said, Al Idrus also explained several other activities that will be held in the next few months, including the inauguration of 2 million Recite Youth, Islamic Youth Festival, Saleh Children's Festival, and ASEAN Islamic Youth Festival.
