Maintaining The Growth Chain Of The Women's Football Ecosystem

Scorpion FC came out as the champion of the Hydroplus Soccer League 2024 (doc. Hydroplus).

JAKARTA The growth chain of the women's soccer ecosystem at the grassroots level will automatically be maintained if there is a competition that is sustainable. That is the principle of organizing the Hyperplus Soccer League 2024 event.

The competition, which was initiated by the Djarum Foundation Sports Service together with the Hydroplus Isotonic Drink, only entered the last week on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at the Supersoccer Arena, Rendeng, Kudus, Central Java.

Djarum Foundation's Director of Sports Service, Yoppy Rosimin, said that this event was held inseparable from their aspirations to produce athletes who are competent to be part of the future of Indonesian women's soccer.

"Our vision to reclaim the era of glory of Indonesian women's football will soon be realized through nursery and the process of developing women's talents rooted in early age," he said in a statement received.

The 2024 Soccer League Hydroplus is a women's soccer tournament for the age category (KU) 14. This event was attended by 11 soccer schools (SSB) from a number of areas, such as Kudus, Rembang, Pati, Jepara, and its surroundings.

The participants consisted of Laskar Jepara Putri, SKU Pink, Galaxy, Scorpions FC, Pedawang Women, Srikandi Kalirejo Undaan, Persig Gribig, Porma, SKU Orange, Women Putra Jaya, and Garkido GFC.

A total of 275 players were involved in the event which was held with a full competition system for 10 weeks. This is a further forum for players who have previously played in the KU-10 and KU-12 tournaments.

"As before, through the MilkLife Soccer Challenge competition targeting KU-10 and KU-12. Then, now it continues to the next level. Of course this is a provision and strengthens their foundations," said Yoppy.

The plan is that in the future the Hydroplus Soccer League will be held twice a year. Furthermore, this event will also open the door for SSB in other areas so that there will be more automatic participants.

This Hydroplus Soccer League adopts a home-to-back match system and a format of 9 vs 9. The match is held with a duration of 20 x 2 minutes on a field measuring half of an ordinary football field.

Group Brand Head Hydroplus, Yose Moriza, said he was proud of the high enthusiasm and motivation of the participants during this tournament.

"We feel proud and increasingly called to continue to provide support, not only for those who fight as women's soccer athletes, but for the entire younger generation of Indonesia," he said.

Scorpion FC successfully emerged as the 2024 Soccer League Hydroplus champion by collecting a total of 53 points. The SSB from Kudus managed to record 17 wins, two draws, and only lost once.

Meanwhile, SSB SKU Pink left as runner-up in the competition. However, this team should be happy because their player Asyifa Sholawa Farizqi brought home the top scorer with a total of 30 goals.
