JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Youth and Sports Agency announced plans to gradually revitalize sports facilities throughout the city. The purpose of this revitalization is to improve sports facilities and infrastructure so that they are more in line with the needs of the community.
One of the facilities that have been renovated is the Bulungan indoor tennis court, which was inaugurated to coincide with the implementation of the 2024 Pinktober Tennis Tournament.
Head of the DKI Jakarta Youth and Sports Agency, Andri Yansyah, explained that the renovation of this indoor tennis court includes repairing the roof of the membrane and adding toilets. This renovation project takes four months, and is expected to provide comfort for people who want to exercise.

This indoor tennis court is one of two available fields, with an outdoor field that is also ready for use. Andri hopes that with this facility, athletes can train better and achieve achievements at the national and international levels.
Meanwhile, the Director of Pinktober Tennis Tournament 2024, Wanda Jane, revealed the high enthusiasm of participants in the tournament aimed at this woman. With time and field limitations, the committee was forced to limit the number of participants to 40 pairs who will compete in round robin format.
