Destroy Verona With Six Goals, Atalanta To Champions League Zone

Atalanta destroyed Hellas Verona 6-1 in the Italian Serie A match at the Gewiss Stadium, Bergamo, Sunday, October 27, 2024 in the morning WIB. A big victory that brought Atalanta into the Champions League zone.

Atalanta was frustrated when Celtic was held without a goal in the Champions League. The failure to win at home despite creating many chances to make Atalanta immediately improve.

Atalanta closed the match with a 6-1 advantage. Gasperini showed his satisfaction with the big win.

According to him, Atalanta should have won against Celtic because the team's game was actually no different. However, Atalanta was frustrated by the Scottish club's strong defense.

"Of course there are still regrets with the draw against Celtic. If we score just one goal in that match, we might get better results because the team's performance has not changed at all," Gasperini was quoted as saying by Football Italia.

"This team is in the best condition. We have a lot of quality players. They are very good at passing when attacking. The difference against Celtic is that we can't score goals from the start of the match. We really can't change those results. But we have to look at the next match," he said.
