JAKARTA - The father of national weightlifter Rizky Juniansyah, Muhammad Yasin died after a motorcycle accident while touring to Tanjung Lesung, Pandeglang.

Randy Maulida Yasin, Rizky's older brother, in Serang, Friday, October 18 said his father had an accident while crossing a corner in Ciomas District, Serang Regency.

"The accident occurred at around 15.20 WIB, maybe it was not from my father because the route was correct," Randy was quoted as saying by ANTARA.

He explained that at the time of the incident a motorcycle came from the opposite direction carrying grass right around the corner, so the accident was unavoidable.

"Maybe because he thought there was a motorbike in front of him until an accident occurred," said Randy. He said his father had been taken to the nearest Puskesmas but his life could no longer be saved.

Rizki suspects that his father was already dead while at the Puskesmas.

"Incidentally, I didn't participate in the touring, it was Rizki's group from KONI and a team of journalists who wanted to go to Ciletuh, because he wanted to join the distance, so he went to Tanjung Lesung," said Rizki.

Muhammad Yasin is known to be a good person and a role model for his children. He advised to keep the gym that became the training ground for athletes.

"If the message always conveys to guard this gym, maybe he has seen his children succeed," said Rizki.

Muhammad Yasin's body was buried in a public cemetery behind the local government RSS housing complex on Friday at 22.00 WIB.
