Persib Management Reminds Supporters About PSSI Komdis Sanctions Ahead Of Jamu Persebaya

Persib must serve a sentence without spectators during Jamu Persebaya (doc. Persib).

JAKARTA - Persib Bandung is scheduled to host Persebaya Surabaya in the eighth week of Liga 1 2024/2025 at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Friday, October 18, 2024.

Maung Bandung's management reminded supporters, Bobotoh, not to come to the stadium. This cannot be separated from the sanctions of the PSSI Disciplinary Committee.

As is known, Komdsi PSSI has imposed sanctions on Persib to close all stands or without spectators at all for two Liga 1 matches. The penalty also applies starting in the match to host Persebaya.

"The ban on holding matches with spectators has come into effect in the Persib home match against Persebaya. Let's respect the PSSI Komdis decision," said Andang Ruhiat, Vice President of Operations of PT Persib Bandung with dignity.

Therefore, Andang further asked Bobotoh to provide support to Persib in their respective places of residence or at the viewing points together (nobar) held.

Andang emphasized that the presence of Bobotoh and Persebaya supporters at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium will produce other forms of violations that can present the next sanctions, both for Persib and Bobotoh and Persebaya supporters.

Komdis PSSI has imposed sanctions on holding matches without spectators in two consecutive matches and a fine of Rp. 295 million to Persib.

In addition, after two matches without spectators, Persib also still has to serve another sentence, namely the closure of the north and south tribune as many as three consecutive matches.

The sentence from the PSSI Komdis was the aftermath of a riot between supporters and stewards after the match against Persija Jakarta in the sixth week of Liga 1, 23 September 2024.
