Aldila Sutjiadi Wins In The First Match Of The Wuhan Open 2024

JAKARTA Indonesia's mainstay tennis player, Aldila Sutjiadi, and her Canadian partner, Leylah Fernandez, won their first match at the Wuhan Open WTA 500.

The pair continued their move after rising from the first set of defeats to stop the Brazilian and German pair Beatriz Haddad Maia/Laura Siegemund, with scores 2-6, 7-5 and 10-6 in women's doubles on Tuesday, October 8, 2024.

"Today's match was very tight and tense," said Aldila after the match as accepted in the statement.

Aldila/Leylah, who are really struggling to find their best game in the first set, continue to be under pressure from opponents until they are 1-4 behind in the second set. However, they slowly catch up and put pressure on the opponent.
