Juventus Vs. Cagliari: Dusan Vlahovic Real Threats In Front Line

JAKARTA - After winning in two consecutive away games, Juventus will return to play in Turin on Sunday 6 September when they host bottom team Serie A, Cagliari. Juventus are now in close proximity to the top of the table, while Cagliari has just won their first league win of the season.

Juventus showed their toughness under coach Thiago Motta in the last match of the Champions League against RB Leipzig. Despite playing with 10 people, Juve were able to bounce back 2-1 thanks to two important goals from Dusan Vlahovic. Vlahovic's equalizer goal and Sergio Conceicao's winning goal ensured a dramatic 3-2 win for Juventus.

Despite losing their main defender, Bremer, due to a severe knee injury early in the game, Juventus were still able to perform solidly. This adds to their winning list after previously beating PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League. The Turin team conceded only in the Champions League and set a very strong defensive record in Serie A, where they haven't conceded a single goal in the first six games.

On the other hand, Cagliari finally won their first win of the season in a dramatic match against Parma. Roberto Piccoli's winning goal lifted the Sardinia team out of the bottom of the standings with five points so far.

Juventus will lose Gleison Bremer who suffered an ACL injury, and Arkadiusz Milik will also have to be sidelined due to knee surgery. Meanwhile, Federico Gatti is expected to replace Bremer in the back line with Pierre Kalulu, while Sergio Conceicao can sign in to replace Nico Gonzalez who is also injured. The Weah team may return after recovering from an ankle injury.

For Cagliari, Mateusz Wieteska will be out of action, while Leonardo Pavoletti and Gianluca Lapadula are doubtful. Therefore, Roberto Piccoli and Zito Luvumbo are likely to return to the duet on the front lines.
