JAKARTA The young Indonesian badminton player is preparing to appear at the 2024 Junior World Championships by adapting to the new format.
The prestigious tournament will take place next week in Nanchang, China. The Indonesian squad will go there on Friday, September 27, 2024.
The match will begin with a team number known as the Suhandinata Cup on September 30 to October 5, 2024 and will continue to the individual number on October 7-13, 2024.
Pratama men's singles coach, Nunung Subandoro, said that the change in the point calculation format applied in the event was the focus of the team's preparation before leaving there.
"This change in score is interesting. We have carried out yesterday's simulation as a form of adaptation and their competing experience," said Nunung in a statement received from PBSI.
