Georgina Rodriguez Claims To Be Relieved After Cristiano Ronaldo Leaves Manchester United

JAKARTA - Georgina Rodriguez admitted that she felt very relieved when Cristiano Ronaldo, her husband, left Manchester United, not only for Ronaldo's interests, but also for herself. This Spanish-Argentina model revealed that she was eager to leave Manchester at that time and was very happy when Ronaldo decided to join the Al-Nassr club in Saudi Arabia.

However, Georgina also acknowledged that there were challenges when she first moved to Saudi Arabia. He described the beginning of their life there as a "up and down journey" before they finally settled in their own mansion.

Cristiano Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr in December 2022, after leaving Manchester United in a controversial situation. The 39-year-old split with the Red Devils after an open interview with Piers Morgan, in which he criticized Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag. This decision made his contract terminated, and Ronaldo immediately signed a big contract with the Saudi Arabian club.

In the third season of his Netflix show "I Am Georgina," Rodriguez revealed the challenges she faced during her last year in England with Ronaldo. "When Cris told me he was going to play for Al-Nassr, I was very relieved that I really wanted to leave Manchester," he said.

Georgina, who is currently 30 years old, expressed her joy after their move to Saudi Arabia. "I know something big is waiting for us, and we are very motivated. I am very happy to come to Saudi Arabia," he added. However, their move didn't always run smoothly.

He explained that everything happened very quickly, and initially they had to stay in the hotel for a long period of time. "At first, there were a few days where I didn't want anyone to see," he recalled. They live in a two-story luxury suite on the Kingdom Tour, with the reported costs reaching more than 250,000 pounds (Rp 5 billion) per month. However, in February 2023, Ronaldo's family finally moved to their new home in Saudi Arabia.

Georgina first met Ronaldo in 2016 when she worked as a sales assistant at Gucci. The two now have two children together, Alana and Bella. Unfortunately, they lost a baby boy during childbirth. In addition, Georgina also took care of Ronaldo's three other children, Cristiano Jr, Eva, and Mateo.
