Liga 1 2024/2025 Results: Borneo Is Strong At The Peak After Winning 1-0 Over Malut United

JAKARTA - Borneo FC managed to strengthen their position at the top of the 2024/2025 Liga 1 standings after winning three points in the fifth week. Facing North Maluku United, the hosts earned three full points after a narrow 1-0 win.

Appearing at Batakan Stadium on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, WIB night, the threat was first made by North Maluku United when the game had only been running for two minutes. However, the effort that was open through Tatsuro Nagamatsu was able to be thwarted by the Borneo goalkeeper, Angga Saputro.

In the 13th minute another chance came from the same player, but this time the final touch was still off the mark and made another chance wasted.

In the 15th minute it was Borneo FC's turn to reply to the situation through Kei Hirose's powerful shot. From a tight angle, his shot bounced narrowly over the Malut United crossbar.
