PON XXI Aceh Prepares 21 Gold Medals For Tarung Derajat Sports

BANDA ACEH - Tarung degrees are one of the sports competed in PON XXI Aceh-North Aceh. A total of 21 gold medals are waiting for the athletes who will compete in Bale Meuseuraya Aceh (BMA) Banda Aceh City, September 16-19.

"Today we hold a technical meeting for all participants and officials so that they know what rules will be applied in the match," said Tarung Derajat Technical Delegate Heru Hernawan in Banda Aceh, Sunday, quoted from ANTARA.

According to him, there are 21 gold medals that will be contested by 22 provinces that will participate in this fighting competition from three categories of matches, namely fighting and art movements for male, female and mixed athletes.

He mentioned that there were 21 match numbers competed, consisting of 14 free fighting numbers, namely men, namely the men's 49.1-52 kg class, 52.1-55 kg men's, 55.1-58 kg men's, 58.1-61 kg men's, 61.1-64 kg men's.

Then the men's 64.1-67 kg class, the men's 67.1-70 kg, the men's 70.1-75 kg and the men's 75.1-80 kg.

Furthermore, women's free combat starts from the women's 45.1-50 kg class, women's 50.1-54 kg, women's 54.1-58 kg, 58.1-62 kg, and women's 62.1-66 kg class.

After that, for the male art match number, there is a single ranger, paired vibrations, and team fierceness. In women's class, single ranger arts number, paired vibrations, and team rangers are also competed.

In addition, one gold medal is also contested in the mixed number of team vibration matches.

"Today we have also collected data on athletes, health checks, doping examinations and measured the athlete's weight so that it is in accordance with the class they will participate in," he said.
