Ivan Toney Becomes One Of The Most Expensive English Players After Moving To The Saudi Arabian League

JAKARTA - Ivan Toney has decided on his future. Instead of anchoring to the Premier League team, he chose to fly to Saudi Arabia on the last day of the transfer market.

The England national team striker is officially in the uniform of Saudi Arabia's Pro-League club, Al Expert, after a 40 million transfer agreement was reached with Brentford.

Toney signed a three-year contract with a salary of 327,000 pounds per week. This figure means that the 28-year-old striker will receive 51 million during his contract term at Al Expert.

As a result, Toney became one of the highest paid England national team players in the world.

However, he still won't be at the top of the England player's earnings list.

There are still Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham with the most expensive fees above Toney.

Kane earns about 410,000 per week with Bayern Munich. Meanwhile, Bellingham pocketed around 340,000 pounds per week at Real Madrid.

Toney moved to the top ranks by being ranked third in the UK player's largest wages.

Raheem Sterling follows Toney in fourth place with a salary of 325,000 per week borne by the Gunners as a borrower for a season.

Manchester United star Marcus Rashford and Manchester City player Jack Grealish both earn a salary of 300,000 per week. They are in fifth and sixth place.

Then completing the top 10, there are four English players getting a salary of 250,000 pounds per week, namely Mason Mount (Manchester United), John Stones (Manchester City), Reece James (Chelsea), and Jadon Sancho (Chelsea).

Apart from that, the interim manager of the England national team, Lee Carsley, announced his first Three Lions squad earlier this week.
