JAKARTA - Arsenal inaugurated Raheem Sterling's arrival on loan from Chelsea in the final minutes of closing the summer transfer market.
The Gunners borrowed Sterling for the next season after the forward was not needed by Chelsea's new manager, Enzo Maresca.
Sterling arrived at Arsenal headquarters, London Colney, to undergo a medical examination just before the deadline of 11 p.m. (August 30, 2024).
He brought a transfer agreement to confirm that the two clubs had agreed.

Sterling was the second player Arsenal recruited on the final day of the transfer market after previously announcing the arrival of Brazil goalkeeper Neto from Bournemouth on the same day.
Neto also arrived in Emirates on loan for one season.
The two joined Riccardo Calafiori and Mikel Merino who were recruited by Arsenal this summer.
