Cristiano Ronaldo Reveals Retirement Plan: Don't Want To Be A Coach

JAKARTA - Cristiano Ronaldo revealed the retirement plan that he had thought of very carefully. He also emphasized that he would not sit in the coach's seat after hanging up his boots.

The plan to retire the Portuguese star was revealed by his lover, Georgina Rodriguez. Regarding hanging up Ronaldo's shoes is not only at the club level, but also the Portugal national team.

"Cristiano, one more year before it all ends. Maybe two more years, I don't know," Georgina said.

Ronaldo's contract at Al-Nassr expires at the end of this season. Then, the call to write off CR7 from the Portugal national team has surfaced after the failure at Euro 2024.

Nearby, Portugal will appear in the 2024/2025 UEFA Nations League. Amid the issue of the rejection, Ronaldo insists he is still ready to be selected by Manager Roberto Martinez to face Croatia, Poland and Scotland in the group stage.

"I want to be able to help the national team in the upcoming matches. We will face the UEFA Nations League and I really want to play," Ronaldo told Portugal NOW.

Back to the matter of retiring, at least Georgina Rodriguez has given a little picture. However, Ronaldo still wants to keep it a secret.

"When I leave the national team, I won't tell anyone before. It will be a very spontaneous decision from me, but also a decision that is considered very carefully," said the Al Nassr player.

The point is, after hanging up his boots, Ronaldo will not return to football as team manager. He prefers to spend time outside of football.

"At the moment, I don't think of becoming a first team coach or any team. It didn't cross my mind at all."

"I never thought of it. I don't see a future like that. I see myself doing other things outside of football, but only God knows what will happen in the future," said the former Manchester United player.

Ronaldo has several profitable side jobs, such as investing in hotels, gyms, and clothing.

The Manchester United and Real Madrid legend also launched his own YouTube channel last week. He was even oddly rumored to be jumping into the world of celebrity boxing.
