Shin Tae-yong Continues To Call Pratama Arhan To The Indonesian National Team In The Middle Of Household Issues

JAKARTA - Pratama Arhan remains a player called by Shin Tae-yong to the Indonesian national team ahead of the 2026 World Cup Qualification Third Round. This was confirmed by the Chairman of the National Team Agency (BTN), Sumardji.

Arhan's summons to the Indonesian national team was confirmed after recently emerging unpleasant issues related to his household. His wife, Azizah Salsa, is suspected of having an affair with Arhan, who is currently playing in South Korea, Suwon FC.

However, recently Azizah spoke about her household with Arhan. The daughter of a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Andre Rosiade, claims that her relationship with her husband is still harmonious. Based on this, Sumardji also emphasized that everything remains in the original plan.

"Until now, Arhan is still being summoned by the Indonesian national team for the Third Round of the 2026 World Cup Qualification in the Asian Zone," Sumardji said in his statement when contacted on Thursday, August 22, 2024.

Arhan is currently still in South Korea. He will join the Indonesian national team in Saudi Arabia for the Third Round of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers for the Asian Zone which will take place on September 6, 2024.

"Arhan remains focused and I have talked a lot to Arhan. It will not be affected at all regarding the news that is going viral outside," said Sumardji.

Apart from that, the Indonesian national team will start its journey in Group C of the Third Round of the 2026 World Cup Qualification in the Asian Zone against Saudi Arabia on September 6, 2024 at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium Stadium.

After that, the Garuda Squad will return to Indonesia to host Australia on September 10, 2024 at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK).
