Enzo Fernandez's Racist Action Creates French Federation Launches Complaints To FIFA

JAKARTA - The French Football Federation (FFF) filed a complaint with FIFA regarding Enzo Fernandez's action.

FFF even stated that they strongly condemned the player's action in celebrating Argentina's victory at the 2024 Copa America.

It was previously known that Enzo Fernandez carried out a disgraceful act during the live broadcast. Racial singing shows were heard in the celebration of the 2024 Copa America champions.

The song was addressed to the French national team, which has many players of African descent.

The incident immediately caught the attention of FFF who then chose to file an official charge and would not be satisfied with a simple settlement. Official protests were filed with the Argentine Football Federation (AFA) and FIFA.

"Given the seriousness of this surprising thing, which is certainly against the values of sport and human rights, the FFF President decided to contact the Argentine Federation and FIFA to file lawsuits over racist and discriminatory actions," the statement continued.

The content of the song itself brought up the various backgrounds of the French national team players. The song was heard at the 2022 World Cup, but was played again on this occasion.

In fact, France has nothing to do with Argentina's work at the 2024 Copa America.

Enzo Fernandez himself has actually apologized for this disgraceful act. The player admitted that he was too late in the euphoria of victory.
