German MotoGP Results 2024: Francesco Bagnaia Podium, Jorge Martin Crash Even Though He Had Time To Lead

JAKARTA - Ducati racer Francesco Bagnaia won the first podium in the 2024 German MotoGP race. Bagnaia became the winner following Jorge Martin, who previously led the final lap but ran aground due to a crash. In the race at the Sachsenring Circuit on Sunday, July 7, Jorge Martin actually started the race through the leading position. Towards the final round, his name is still at the top. However, during the race, there were three rounds left, Jorge Martin actually experienced an incident. His position was later won by Francesco Bagnaia. This achievement was Francesco Bagnaia's first victory at the Sachsenring Circuit. Bagnaia went through this final result with a lot of resistance. The battle for the podium was exciting. The first ten laps, the battle of three Ducati racers was quite fierce. Jorge Martin, who had taken over the race failed to defend him after Francesco Bagnaia took the lead. Bagnaia continues to try to escape the siege of Ducati satellite racers, namely Martin and Franco Morbidelli. After two laps maintained their position, Martin took the lead again. Complementing second place on the podium were Gresini Racing racer Marc Marquez who was 3.804 seconds slower and Alex Marquez in third place. Marc Marquez is back in a sensational race. The Gresini Racing rider started from the 13th position, and was able to continue to catch up until he finished in second place.

In order to win second place, Marc Marquez had a chance to cross with Franco Morbidelli when the race left nine rounds. With this result, Bagnaia also won his sixth victory in the 2024 MotoGP. Bagnaia is now at the top of the 2024 MotoGP standings with 222 points.
