Become A Sponsor Of Manchester City, Midea Collaborates With Young Leaders In Bandung

JAKARTA - Midea as one of the partners who supports well-known football clubs, Manchester City is holding the latest phase of the football community's initiative as a form of real work in the world of sports.

Held in Bandung, the latest phase of the global football community initiative is in collaboration with Manchester City and Rumah Cemara. This initiative is carried out in order to continue educating local youths about football, leadership, and sustainability.

In addition to educating the community, which is mostly filled with young people, Midea also contributes 50 household appliances to Rumah Cemara which has helped create a comfortable and safe environment for Young Leaders and all parties involved in this football session.

This activity also took place thanks to the support of the Manchester City club's charity, City in the Community (CITC). Where the program also runs with the support of two Manchester City coaches and 30 Young Leaders who are trained to encourage a more active generation.

"Modea Global has been a partner of Manchester City since 2020 and this year Midea collaborated for the first time with this Young Leaders activity," said Hafizh Maulana as Head of Marketing Communication, Midea Indonesia in a statement quoted on Sunday, July 7.

"In addition to providing skills training for them, Manchester City also provides soccer equipment for use during these activities," said Hafizh Maulana.

Not only this activity, throughout 2024 Manchester City and Midea Global also participated in football community activities in two countries, namely Brazil and Indonesia.

Rumah Cemara itself was chosen because it has a Sport for Development Division program through football activities aimed at social change. In addition to Midea's charity activities for the football community, this has also formed good cooperation with Manchester City.
