Southgate Doesn't Problem Performance Less Convincing Britain

JAKARTA - England's performance from the two parties that have been undertaken in Group C Euro 2024 is less convincing.

Three Lions have only packed four points from one win and one draw. Harry Kane and colleagues have only scored two goals and conceded one goal.

The opening journey was marked by three points when they beat Serbia 1-0. Next, England only played a series against Denmark 1-1.

However, Gareth Southgate as the UK manager is not too worried about the performance of his team.

He emphasized that to get to the Euro 2024 champions, travel must go up and down.

"We have to guide the team through the difficult times to come, but stay on the right track and focus on the challenges ahead."

"We're trying to do something we've never done before. So, it's going to be like a rollercoaster."

"It will not go smoothly when you try to achieve extraordinary things. So, we have to accept the level of expectations, we have to accept the arena where we are," Southgate said.

Southgate has high optimism that its students will appear to increase from match to match.

Several senior figures in the Three Lions squad have experienced similar situations. They actually become more value for England because it will improve the mentality of other players, especially young players.

"We have to find a better way to play. We are in a different situation from the previous tournaments we participated in."

"However, the situation is exactly the same, four points after two games. We know the performance rate must be better."

"We have some strong leaders in the dressing room. They have been in a situation like this and will play their role in lifting people."

"We have to play better. I'm not going to hide from that fact. I have to find a solution to do that," Southgate said.

England is still at the top of Group C. At least, they have confirmed the step to the knockout phase.
