JAKARTA - Germany became the first team to win tickets to the last 16 of Euro 2024 after a 2-0 win over Hungary. Coach Julian Nagelsmann hopes Germany can keep supporters from dreaming of becoming champions at home.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Manuel Neuer admitted that he did not expect the national team to receive extraordinary support from supporters. According to the Bayern goalkeeper, the atmosphere created by supporters is through singing and calls to make players even more excited.

"You can feel when you see how the euphoria of the fans is. The atmosphere is indeed extraordinary and fun to happen here," said Neuer.

Responding to the performance against Hungary, Nagelsmann assessed that the team showed impressive progress. Especially in the previous two matches against the same opponent in the Nations League, Germany drew 1-1 and then lost 1-0.
