Nova Arianto Asks For Prayers And Community Support For Indonesia U-16 In The 2024 AFF U-16 Cup

JAKARTA - The U-16 Indonesian national team coach, Nova Arianto, will escort the team to appear in the 2024 AFF U-16 Cup or ASEAN Championship U-16 which will be held in Solo. Ahead of the competition which rolled on from June 21 to July 4, 2024, the coach asked for prayers and support from the people of the country.

At the event, Indonesia U-16 as the host joined in Group A with Laos, Singapore, and the Philippines. Garuda Muda's inaugural match will be held on June 21, 2024 at Manahan Stadium against Singapore.

With the near future, Nova said his team should not fight alone. Therefore, support from supporters adds to the spirit of players on the field.

"Please pray and support. Hopefully the U-16 Indonesian national team will be given convenience and given the best results at the end of the tournament," Nova said as quoted from his personal Instagram page on Thursday, June 20, 2024.

Not only asking for prayers and support, the former Indonesian national team player also advised the players to play loose in the U-16 AFF Cup. This cannot be separated from the goal so that his team can show their quality in the field.

"Complete the game and go through the process. This will be the beginning for your career. It will definitely not be easy, but believe me as long as you work hard the results will follow," said the coach who is also Shin Tae-yong's assistant.

Nova said the U-16 Indonesian national team will focus on the match to the match. He made sure the players will fight all out to maintain the good name as the host.

"Focus on gaming per game and enjoy your moments when wearing national team uniforms. There must be responsibility there because you bring the good name of this nation," he said.
