Turkey Vs Georgia: Hurricane Injury For Goyah Montella Squad

JAKARTA - The Turkish national team was hit by a storm of injuries ahead of the opening match of Euro 2024 against Georgia, Tuesday 18 June, at the BVB Dortmund Stadium (Westfalens Stadium). Their flagship defenders, Caglar Soyuncu, Ozan Kabak, and Ridvan Yilmaz, had to miss the tournament, so coach Vincenzo Montella lacked options on the back.

The young Ajax player who has never appeared, Ahmetcan Kaplan, may have a duet with former Juventus player, Merih Demiral, who is now playing in Saudi Arabia. Meanwhile, Ferdi Kadioglu from Fenerbahce, who is rumored to be Arsenal's target, is also likely to appear as a starter.
