JAKARTA The badminton (sports) team will depart early on July 13, 2024, to France to prepare for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Head of the PBSI Development and Achievement Division, Ricky Soebagdja, said that the badminton team would fly there on schedule if nothing changes.
"We will depart early. (The plan is) there is a training camp there, in Chambly. If there is no change, we will depart on 13 (July 2024). So, there are approximately 10 days to go to the venue, athletes' village," he said.

Chambly is approximately 40 kilometers north of Paris City. This city is a commuter in the Oise Department which is planned to be the training camp (TC) for the Indonesian badminton team ahead of the biggest four-year multi-event event.

"The goal is that the air is different in July. Unlike February and March. So, we adapt earlier. Hopefully this adaptation can be utilized properly," he said.
