Iraq U-23 Against Indonesia U-23 In Third Place Competition For The 2024 U-23 Asian Cup

Indonesia U-23 will face Iraq U-23 in the third race for the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup (doc. PSSI).

JAKARTA - The U-23 Indonesian national team will undergo a match for third place in the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup against Iraq U-23. The winner of the match will secure automatic qualifying for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Iraqi U-23 certainty against the U-23 Indonesian national team was obtained after they lost against Japan U-23 with a score of 0-2 in the semifinals.

In the match at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium, Tuesday, April 30, 2024, early morning WIB, two Blue Samurai goals were scored by Mao Hosuya (26) and Ryotaro Araki (42).

Japan U-23 will meet Uzbekistan U-23 at the top of the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup as well as both of them have sealed tickets to the 2024 Paris Olympics.

As for Iraq U-23, the defeat in the semifinals forced them to face Indonesia U-23 to ensure third place.
