Proliga 2024 Results: Minus Megawati, Jakarta BIN Brushes Livin Mandiri

JAKARTA BIN Jakarta secured their first victory at the 2024 Proliga by defeating the Jakarta newcomer team Livin Mandiri.

Both teams closed the match at GOR Amonggrogo, Yogyakarta, Thursday, April 25 evening WIB, with a final score of 3-1 (25-20, 29-27, 21-25, 25-15).

In this match, Jakarta BIN was not strengthened by their mainstay player Megawati Hanggetri Pertiwi. He missed the match because he was not fit.

Megawati joined the Proliga this season after looking stunning with Red knowledge in the South Korean volleyball league. One season there, he took the team to the semifinals of the playoffs.

During the match Megawati was seen sitting on the bench. He was wrapped in a club jacket and could only watch his colleagues play.

Megawati's presence made BIN Jakarta one of the teams to be reckoned with this season. The Jember-based volleyball player is likely to have a significant impact.

Megawati is likely to play their first match of the season in the second match when Jakarta BIN faces defending champion Bandung Bjb Tandamata, Saturday, April 27.

Meanwhile, Livin Mandiri will play their second match against Jakarta Electric PLN, Friday, April 26 tomorrow. PLN electricity is a team that is captured by Yolla Yuliana.
