JAKARTA - The U-23 Indonesian national team has confirmed their place in the U-23 Asian Cup quarter-finals. South Korea U-23 is confirmed to be against Garuda Muda.

The certainty of the U-23 Indonesian national team locking up the venue in the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup quarter-finals was obtained after a 4-1 victory over Jordan U-23 on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at the Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium.

Three points in the group's last match made Garuda Muda manage to collect a total of six points from three matches. They managed to end the Group A phase as runners-up.

The points were achieved from the result of a controversial defeat against Qatar U-23 with a score of 0-2.

Shin Tae-yong's team then got up and beat Australia U-23 (1-0) and won convincingly 4-1 over Jordan U-23.

Seeing the status as runners-up in Group A, the U-23 Indonesian national team is scheduled to meet the winner of Group B which was secured by South Korea U-23.

Warriors grabbed the position after winning against Japan U-23 with a narrow score of 1-0 in the last match of Group B.

Appearing at the Jassim bin Hammad Stadium on Monday, April 22, 2024, WIB night, South Korea U-23's single goal was scored by Kim Min-woo in the 75th minute. These three points made Taegeuk Warriors collect perfect points.
