SBY Attends Redmen's Fun Volleyball Vs Indonesia All Stars At Indonesia Arena

JAKARTA Former President of the Republic of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) participated in the Indonesia All Stars match against Redmen.

The sixth President of the Republic of Indonesia arrived at the location of the match at the Indonesia Arena, Senayan, Jakarta, Saturday, April 20 at around 18.30. He arrived approximately 10 minutes before the exhibition match began.

SBY came and was accepted by the Minister of Youth and Sports Dito Ariotedjo. The two then headed to the north tribune and sat there with other VIP guests.

The two-term president was seen wearing a red shirt wrapped in a brown vest. Meanwhile, the bottom suit is dark.

The match between Redmen against Indonesia All Stars was held with the title Fun Volleyball. Prioring this match was a match between fellow celebrities in the country.

The group of Redmen who came to Indonesia amounted to 42 people. It consists of players, reserves, officials, coaches, management teams, and internal media.

Redmen come with their core players who reached the semifinals of last season's South Korean League playoffs. Included in the group were Indonesian volleyball players Megawati Hanggetri Pertiwi.

Megawati played for the team in the South Korean volleyball league's highest caste for the 2023/2024 season. The volunteer's role, dubbed Megatron, also helped Redmen qualify for the competition's semifinals.

Megawati's joining Redmen made the enthusiasm of Indonesian volleyball lovers towards the Korean league rise. No wonder the arrival of Redmen to Jakarta was greeted with great fanfare.

The match between Red Spark marks the opening of the highest caste of the national volleyball league, Proliga 2024. The competition will take place tomorrow.
