Three Indonesian Volleyball Players Entered Trial In The South Korean League

JAKARTA There were three Indonesian volleyball players who got the opportunity to join the trial players of the South Korean Volleyball Federation (KOVO) Women's Asia Chapter 2024.

The three names are Yolla Yuliana, Aulia Suci Nurfadilah, and Megawati Hanggestri Pertiwi. Last name last season took part in this program and qualified so that he could join Red secretion.

The test or try out of the 2024 South Korean Volleyball League for Asian quota players will take place at Jeju Halla Gymnasium, South Korea, from April 29 to May 1, 2024.

"The KOVO Women's Asia Quarter 2024 trial which will be held for the second time since last season will be held from April 29 (Monday) to May 1, 2024 (Wednesday) at Jeju Halla Gymnasium and Sun Hotel," wrote the official KOVO website.

Yolla Yuliana, who is currently approaching 30 years old, has a wealth of experience in Proliga. He is part of the Jakarta Electric PLN squad that won the 2014 edition of the Proliga and Bandung BJB Tandamata in 2022.

This season, Yolla will appear for Jakarta Electric PLN. The player with a height of 183 centimeters has a spike range of 285 centimeters and a block range of 274 centimeters.

Meanwhile, Aulia will appear for Gresik Petrokimia at Proliga 2024. This 20-year-old player can be placed as a hitter or opposite.

Yolla, Aulia, and Mega were among the 36 players who registered to try out their abilities to qualify and have the opportunity to play at the highest level of the South Korean volleyball league.

Of these, six volunteers have appeared with South Korean Volleyball League teams last season. Then, of the seven Asian players who played last season, only Japanese volleyball player, Reina Tokoku, did not register again.

Apart from Megawati, six other names that have re-registered themselves to try out for the 2024/2025 season are Mar-Jana Phillips, Pornpun Guedpard, Thanacha Sooksod, Wipawee Srithong, and Darin Pinsuwan.
