List 17 Indonesian Representatives Who Qualified For The 2024 Paris Olympics

JAKARTA A total of 17 Indonesian representatives is confirmed to have pocketed tickets to the 2024 Paris Olympics.

The latest ticket was obtained by cycling sports athlete Bernard Benyamin Van Aert, on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at noon.

Bernard qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympics after qualifying in the Track Olympic Ranking which is ranked 20th. In France, the athlete will compete in the men's omnium category.

Bernard managed to qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympics after closing the qualifying series by finishing in 11th place in the 2024 UCI Track Nations in the men's ominium number.

He is the 17th Indonesian representative to qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympics. The Red and White Contingent itself has a target of sending more than 28 athletes to the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Previously, 16 tickets to Paris were secured by six representatives from badminton, two athletes from archery and rock climbing, three weightlifters, and one artistic gymnastics athlete, one shooting athlete, and one surf athlete.

The 2024 Paris Olympics will take place from July 26 to August 11, 2024. Indonesia has a target of bringing home more than two gold medals for the first time in the history of participating in the Olympics.
