AFC U-23: 1st Round, Indonesia 0-1 Downs From Qatar

JAKARTA Indonesia trailed 0-1 from Qatar in the first round of the AFC U-23 Group A Cup match. The match was held at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium, Monday (15/4).

Qatar got a goal through a penalty point in the 43rd minute. The penalty for Qatar was due to a violation by Indonesian national team defender Rizky Ridho against Qatar players.

Qatar midfielder Khalid Ali Sabah finished his duties smoothly. His shot failed to be anticipated by goalkeeper Ernando Ari Sutaryadi. The hosts won 1-0.

Indonesia tried to equalize in the final minutes of the first half, but had not yet succeeded in meeting the target. The first half ended with a temporary 1-0 advantage for Qatar.
