Schedule Of 4 Indonesian Representatives In The Quarter-Finals Of BAC Today

JAKARTA – Indonesia has four representatives in the 2024 Badminton Asia Championship (BAC) quarter-finals. The following is their match schedule this afternoon. The last eight of the 2024 BAC at the Ningbo Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium, China, will take place, Friday, April 12, starting at 13.00 local time or 12.00 WIB. The four Indonesian representatives who enter this round will receive a tough test. They all met with the seeds of the competition at the level of Super 1000 BWF. Of the Indonesian men's singles, there are as many as two representatives who still survive. Both are Jonatan Christie and defending champion of this tournament, namely Anthony Sinisuka Ginting. Jonathan, who is the third seed, will meet with Malaysian ambassador and eighth seed, Lee Zii Jia. This will be the tenth meeting between the two badminton players. In the previous nine meetings, Lee Zii won 5-4 wins. Interestingly five wins over Jonathan, all of which occurred in their five latest meetings. Meanwhile, Anthony Sinisuka Ginting will face the fifth seed, Li Shi Feng. Ginting, who is the second seed, has so far won 4-2. Two other representatives who will play today are the men's doubles pair Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto and the women's singles Gregoria Mariska Tunjung. Fajar/Rian, sixth seed, will meet China's third seed, Liang Wei Yekong/Wang Chang. Meanwhile, Gregoria became the seventh seed with the second seed Chen Yufei.
