Xabi Alonso Finally Talks About Liverpool And Bayern Munich Offers

JAKARTA - Bayer Leverkusen coach Xabi Alonso finally opened his voice about the offer to coach from Liverpool and Bayern Munich. Alonso also dismissed various rumors about him.

Liverpool and Bayern Munich are competing fiercely for Alonso who successfully handled Leverkusen. Not only the two European giants but also Real Madrid who peeked at the opportunity to attract this 44-year-old coach.

The offer to coach a big club certainly lucrative any coach. Leverkusen fans can only guess whether Alonso will join Bayern or Liverpool.

Liverpool, who will be abandoned by Jurgen Klopp manager by the end of the season, have been eyeing Alonso, who was once part of the Reds squad. Including winning the 2005 Champions League.

"I want to help this club and help players develop. The club council is also amazing... everything at this club is fantastic," said Alonso again.

Alonso, further said that he was still a young coach. This is what makes Alonso stay in Leverkusen.

"I'm still a young coach. So this is the best decision for my future. I really thank Bayer, the council, players and fans... I think continuing this collaboration and this is the best," said Alonso.

"I also need to convey to the players that it is true Now, everything is clear," he said.

"I will not comment on Liverpool or Bayern. They are a big club and I do have ties to them. But my place is here. This is not the time to decide on my future. What is clear is that I want to develop at Bayer Leverkusen," he said.

Alonso did achieve great success with Leverkusen. He has the opportunity to lead Leverkusen to the league title for the first time in the club's history.

Leverkusen is also still in the Europa League. In the quarter-finals, they will play the match against West Ham United.
