League 1 2023/2024 Results: Arema Decreased, Dewa United Pursues Big Four

JAKARTA - Week 30 of Liga 1 2023/2024 presents two different ambition duels on Wednesday, March 27, 2024.

Dewa United hosted Persita Tangerang at the Indomilk Stadium on a mission to get full points to enliven the hunt for the top four.

Then, Arema hosted Persebaya Surabaya with the motivation to get out of the relegation zone.

Dewa United successfully won with a convincing 4-1 score over the Cisadane Warriors.

However, Dewa's son fell behind in the 37th minute through Ramiro Fergonzi's penalty goal.

Dewa United's opener was only created in first-half injury time. Brian Fatari equalized in the 45+1 minute using Ady Setiawan's pass.

In the second half, Dewa United managed to make a comeback when the game had only been running for nine minutes.

Dimitris Kolovos put the Dewa's child ahead 2-1 after using Ahmad Noviandani's assist.

Egy Maulana Vikri, who had just returned from defending the Indonesian national team in the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers, made Dewa United's advantage move away.

He scored the team's third goal in the 76th minute again using Ahmad Noviandani's assist.

Majed Osman then completed Dewa United's landslide victory four minutes before dispersal. The hosts picked up three points and heated up the competition for the top four.

Dewa United has now packed 44 points and is in sixth place. They are only two points adrift of Madura United who are in fourth place.

Dewa's children still have four matches left to fight for the Championship Series Liga 1 2023/2024.

The next match is Arema vs Persebaya. Singo Edan, who is on a mission to get as many points as possible, failed again.

Arema lost 0-1 to Bajul Ijo at the Captain I Wayan Dipta Stadium, Bali.

Persebaya's only goal was contributed by Yan Victor in the 40th minute.

An additional three points made Persebaya now have 39 points. Bajul Ijo also moved further away from the relegation zone and is now on the 10th stairs.

Meanwhile, for Arema FC, this defeat made it even more difficult for them to escape the relegation zone.

Singo Edan currently collects 31 points and sits in 16th position, only losing the goal difference to PSS Sleman and Persita who are ranked 14th and 15th or safe limits.
