By.U Cup 2024 Collaborates With United Warriors To Net Professional Futsal Player Talents

The futsal tournament between schools for the 2024 ByU Cup collaborates with the United Warriors (doc. Special).

JAKARTA - The first and upper high school (SMP and SMA) level national futsal competition was again held byU. Titled the 2024 ByU Cup, the United Warrior futsal club is partnered with this year.

This season will be the third year of the by.U. Cup. Reflecting on the success of the previous two editions, this year's performance was also held with a larger coverage area.

Head of by.U, Riko Ringgoanto, said that this year's edition there will be 19 locations throughout Indonesia in 82 cities visited by the ByU Cup.

"In the first edition of 2022, it will only be held in one city, namely Semarang. In 2023 there will be two cities, namely Blitar and Bojonegoro," said Riko Ringgoanto at a press conference for the by.U Cup in the Senayan area, Central Jakarta, Monday, 26 February 2024.

"This year is special because of high interest plus a lot of potential throughout Indonesia. This year our event will be long. There are 19 points of implementation," he said.

Riko revealed that there will be more than 912 schools participating from these 19 locations. The hope is that there will be more than 10 thousand participants.

This is the main goal of holding the By.U Cup in order to become a massive movement in capturing the talents of talented young futsal players.

This competition is also used as a talent scouting event. Later, the best six players will be selected who can get the opportunity to join the United Warriors.

This means that the six most potential players have a great chance of stepping into professional futsal levels.

"Six potential players will take part in training with United Warriors in Jakarta. Players will have the opportunity to train and be coached by the team."

The 2024 ByU Cup competition will start in February-November 2024. The 2024 ByU Cup Roadshow will start from the West Java Series (February-October 2024), East Java Series (August-September 2024), Central Java Series (September-October 2024), Outer Java Series (July-October 2024), and close at the Jakarta Series (October-November 2024).
